He joined the bank in 2012 as Senior Private Banker. Mr. Martin started his Middle East Private Banking career in 1984, alternating banker and leadership roles at UBS AG, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup, always covering GCC countries, Iran and Pakistan. Besides having recently spent four years in London leading a large team of bankers through the financial crisis, Mr. Martin also lived four years in Bahrain during war times, an experience which gave him a particular hindsight about regional challenges. In parallel to a Swiss military career completed ten years ago as a Deputy Infantry Bataillon Commander, Mr. Martin also holds a Degree in Finance from Geneva University as well as a Compliance Officer diploma from UBS AG.
